Description
McLaren-Oakland Geri-Psychiatric Unit provides a safe therapeutic environment for seniors with serious psychiatric, substance abuse, family or interpersonal problems.  Our primary goal is to provide rapid assessment, diagnosis and follow-up with treatment that focuses on minimizing dysfunction and maximizing quality of life.

Geriatric Psychiatry services adults 55 years of age and older with psychiatric issues. The unit has a bed capacity for 20 patients. Special attention is given to the rights and needs of this special population in a caring and supportive environment.
